Lynn Mueller, CEO SHARC Energy Biography
Lynn Mueller is the CEO and Founder of SHARC Energy, a multi-award winning clean energy company based in Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a world-recognized pioneer in the field of wastewater heat recovery and has over 25 years of experience in geothermal heat pump marketing and sales.
Lynn's passion for clean energy began early on in his career, where he served as president of WaterFurnace Canada and International and later founded Pacific Geo-Exchange Inc. and Earth Source Energy Inc. In 2008, he co-founded SHARC International Systems, which has been perfecting the science of wastewater heat recovery for over a decade. Under his leadership, SHARC has developed patented technology that is currently being used by global customers, ranging from energy districts to hotels.
Lynn's dedication to creating a more sustainable future for his children and grandchildren has earned him and his company numerous accolades. SHARC Energy has won awards such as the 2018 Water Canada Company of the Year, 2018 Water Canada Project/Technology of the Year, 2018 Water Canada People/Private Sector Organization of the Year, and 2018 Manning Innovation Award Nominee. In 2016, Lynn was inducted into the Clean 50, a recognition of the top 50 leaders in sustainability in Canada and in 2022 was given a Clean50 Lifetime Achievement Award.
Lynn's personal mission is to do all he can to make the world more livable for future generations. He is committed to reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions by promoting the use of clean energy solutions like wastewater heat recovery. Through his efforts, SHARC Energy is making a significant impact on the environment and the energy industry.
